I was just about to panic here.
I come up to my favorite Wi-Fi hotspot to partake of some Internet goodness, only to find that for some reason my Wi-FI card has disappeared from my computer!
Well, not quite "disappeared", more like Windows decided for some reason not to recognize it, and thusly, I was offline for two whole days.
Normally, this wouldn't be that much of a problem...
...but with my Wi-Fi card down, I needed to consider either using an available land line, which isn't necessarily present on The University.
So I had to make way to my old haunts...
...and discovered their IT Team had blocked dA.
:ohnoes:
But, to my absolute joy, I wouldn't need to restore my system, as suddenly as it vanished, my Wi-Fi reappeared.
:phew:
And with that load of my back, I can rest easy...
..for a while.
I still need a new job and also need to figure out how I'm gonna pay for gas until this rebate check gets in.

The Defiant isn't that bad a design, for a battleship.
Methinks that is the first time in ST canon were a Capitol ship didn't use a saucer section.

I've been interested in starship design.
I guess that started after I saw my first Star Trek episode.
The original series, not one of the spin-offs.
Though, admittedly, I did think the Enterprise-D was a horrendous monstrosity.
